Abu Malik

Abu Malik is an Indian music composer as well as a singer, author, and actor who has worked in the Hindi film industry. He was born on 31^st October 1958 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He started his journey in Bollywood as a playback singer with the movie ‘Nigahain’ in 1983; he sang the song ‘Yaad Hamari Aati Hai Kya.’ In 2009, he made his debut as a music composer in Bollywood with the movie ‘Bad Luck Govind’. He also worked as a music composer in an American film named ‘American Blend’ in 2006.

He worked as a music director in the Hindi film Kismat Bole Toh in 2008. In 2011, he started his company ‘Musicman  Malik Entertainment Private Ltd.’ to organize music shows all around the world; he has arranged more than ten thousand shows since then. He is the author of the book ‘Mad Man’ (2017).  He came as a contestant in an Indian reality show ‘Big Boss’ Season 13 on Colors TV. The show was aired on 29^th September 2019 and ended on 15^th February 2020, and it became the longest season till 2020. He was the eldest contestant on the show and was evicted on the 22^nd day by the housemates.

He did an advertisement song for the Textile company ‘Raymond’ in 2009. He studied at Father Angel School in Delhi and Bernes School in Deolali, Maharashtra. He is a graduate of Business Administration (BBA) from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. In the year 2011, Abu Malik opened a company named "Musicman Malik Entertainment Private Limited," which organizes events all around the world. He is said to have done more than 10,000 shows with almost every famous Bollywood stars.

He has also worked in many films with his childhood friend, Sunny Deol. "Rantings Of A Mad Man." was his first book published by him in 2017. He participated in the famous reality show Big Boss Season 13. Apart from his career, Abu Malik's hobby is horse-riding, and he is also an animal lover.
