Sonia Sahni

Sonia is an Indian actress whose father was from Lahore and mother from Peshawar, who move to Kashmir during Partition. She has six sisters and two brothers, and she’s the youngest one She was a theatre artist since childhood and her talent was discovered by filmmakers like Roop Shourie and I.S. Johar. She made her debut in I.S. Johar’s film Johar Mehmood in Goa. She signed a five-year contract with Johar, which meant she could only work in his ventures. Her films appealed to the family audience as they were light heart comedies.
