Rukhsar Rehman is a popular and talented face in the arena of Indian film and television circuit. She has till date appeared in a number of Hindi films and popular Hindi television serials, in various notable and some passable roles. Rukhsar Rehman, hailing from a Muslim middle class family ,started her career in the tinsel town at the young age of 19 years, in the year 1991 with the Hindi film Yaad Rakhegi Duniya, where she was cast as the leading lady opposite Aditya Pancholi.

Rukhsar then appeared in the year 1992 in the film 'Inteha' opposite stalwart Rishi Kapoor. Unlike popular beliefs, Rukhsar didn’t aspired to be an actress at all. Instead, wanted to be an IAS officer like her father. After Inteha she was not offered any meaty roles and she was not seen on the silver screen for a long time, until she appeared in strong character oriented films in Ram Gopal Varma’s 'D' and ' Sarkar'.

Rukhsar is noted for her fair, tall, demeanour appearance and charming personality. She was recently seen in Sony TV’s hit show, ' Kuch Toh Log Kahenge', in the role of Dr. Mallika, and lately on Zee Tv’s 'Aur Pyaaar Ho Gaya'.

Rukhsar Rehman is a well known actress from India known for her works in Indian television and films. She is mainly popular among the masses for her roles in television serials such as, ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’, and ‘Tumhaari Paakhi’, etc. She has also appeared in Bollywood films such as ‘Sarkar’ in 2005, ‘ God Tussi Great Ho’ in 2008, and ‘ PK’ in 2014.

She was born in the year 1974 into a family of Muslims. Her father was Mr. Lateefur Rehman Khan and he was a well-known IAS officer. On February 20th in the year 2013, her father passed away. In the year 1991, Rukhsar made her debut into the field of acting when she was just 19 years old. Roopa Ganguly or Rupa Ganguly is well known for her memorable role as Draupadi in B. R. Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat 1988 TV Series’. Roopa a.k.a Draupadi as she is known was born in Kalyani (Kolkata) on 25th November 1966.
