It seems like Reenu Mathews leads a very busy life. From being an Indian actress working in Malayalam movies to being an air hostess in the Emirates Airlines, she does both the jobs well. Born as the youngest daughter of parents, Mathews, and Santhamma in Kottayam, she has done great work in Malayalam movies.

Before making it to the big screen, she also appeared in two small screen films namely, ‘December Mist’ and ‘Kanappurangal’. It happens only by luck that a newbie gets the chance to star opposite legend actors like Mammootty, Mohanlal, etc., and Reenu had that luck with her. The most anticipated film of 2013 had Amal Neerad’s anthology ‘Anju Sundarikal’ which had short movies by five top class directors and Reenu Mathews got the opportunity to star in it.

According to an interview with The Times of India, Reenu said that the roles she was offered with are mature than her actual age. She told that she always approached for elder and de-glam roles, roles which had an age higher than hers because she looks like that and fits her comfortably. If we look at her career, though it has been short she has done great work in films like December Mist (2006) and Kanapurangal.
