Born and brought up in Kolkatta, Pooja is an accomplished actress in the world of television and also in the Bengali movies. Born on 6th February, 1987, she belongs to a family from Jaipur, having a Bengali descent. Pooja graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai.

It is now known that Pooja’s maiden name is Pooja Banerjee. She got married to a person outside of the film industry from where she got her surname Bose. They had a divorce and since then she has reverted to the name Pooja Banerjee. She has started her filmography career in 2011 by appearing in her first movie Telugu language “Veedu Theda”. Puja has started her Bengali movie career in 2011 that is Macho Mastanaa in Bengali language then appeared in Challenge 2, Rajdhani Express which is only Hindi movie, Loveria, Rockey, Oh! Henry, Proloy and Teen Patti. She has three upcoming movies Deewana Holo Mon, Bostir Chele and Agnee.

In 2013 Pooja Banerjee hit the dance with renowned Bollywood on-screen character Govinda in his music collection Gori Tere Naina on all tracks with him. She showed up in the Comedy Night With Kapil demonstrate on Colors Television for the advancement of collection Gori Tere Naina on fifteenth December 2013. Her debut on television was in the role of Radha in the serial Kahaani Humaarey Mahabharat Ki. Thereafter she played the lead role of Vrinda in Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna with co-star Kunal Verma (whom she is actually in love with in real life) on Star Plus. One of her most influential roles is that of Goddess Parvati, Adi-Shakti and Godess Kali in Devon Ke Dev- Mahadev.

Pooja has participated in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa (season 7) where she was addressed as Puja Banerjee. She also featured in Govinda’s music album named “Gori Tere Naina. Pooja has also acted in several movies, including her debut film Macho Mastaana with Hiran Chatterjee,and Challenge 2 which is Raja Chandra’s film. Then there is Sujit Mondal’s Rocky starring Mahakshay Chakraborty. She had a stint with telugu films by acting in Veedu Theda.

Pooja Bose’s actual name is Pooja Banerjee. She is an actress by profession. She was born on 6th February 1987, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is 29 years old (2016). She completed her schooling from St. Paul Mission School and her graduation from Scottish Church College, both in Kolkata. She is Hindu by religion. Dancing and traveling are her hobbies. Her favorite food is chicken and favorite actors are Amitabh Bachan and Akshay Kumar, and favorite actresses are Kajol and Rekha.

Devon Ka Dev Mahadev was one of the serial in which she played Parvati’s role replacing the previous actress Sonarika Bhadoria. In the same serial she was first chosen for Sati’s role, but she was doing some other project that time and that role were given to Mouni Roy. In the reality show of Colors Channel “Jhalak Dikhlhla Jaa Season 7,” she was one of the contestants, 2014. She is Goddess Durga’s devotee.

She was also paired with Naseem Vicky, a comedian in the show named Comedy Nights Bachao on Colors Channel in 2015. After Jhalak Dikhlhla Jaa 7 she moved towards Bollywood movies. Her first film Veeru Theda in which she had done the role of Meghna was released on November 11, 2011. On March 9, 2012, Macho Mastana was released in which she did the role of Diya. She did a total of ten films out of which 3 Films haven’t released and are under filming. The film are Challenge 2 (2012) as Pooja, Rajdhani Express (2013) as Sunita, Loveria (2013) as Sweety, Rocky (2013) as Nandini, Oh! Henry (2013) as Brishti, Proloy (2013) as Special Dancer, Teen Patti (2014) as Mohor, Deewana Holo Mon (2015) (filming), Ye Maya Hanaima (2016) (filming), Bhalobasa Bhalobasa 2 (2017) (filming).

She also did nine televisions serials namely Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki (2008) as Radha, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna (2008-2010) as Vrinda, Sarvggun Sampanna (2010) as Swara, Devon Ke Dev - Mahadev (2013- June 2014) as Goddess Parvati, Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013) as Herself, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Season 7)(2014-june 2014) as herself and got eliminated from the show on 27 June in the 7th week of the show, Comedy Nights Bachao (2015- present) as herself, Qubool Hai (2015-2016) Afreen, Darr Sabko Lagta Hai (2015) as Dr. Radhika in its Eighteenth episode.
