Anita Shabdeesh is an Indian actress who has done more than 15 Hindi and Punjabi movies. Anita has also appeared on more than 30 television serials. Apart from being an actor, Anita is a renowned theater artist and has directed on an average of 40 plays. Born on 23 rd October 1970, Anita grew up in Ferozepur district in Punjab. She did her diploma in dress designing. Anita made her theater debut at the age of 19 in the drama Rishteyan Da Kee Rakhiye Naa, directed by Shri Atamjeet.
Since then, Anita has enacted in more than 100 plays. In 1998 Anita set up her theater group in the name Suchetak Rang Manch at Mohali. She is determined to make plays with not just entertainment but also with a strong message for people. And that’s the reason her group has the slogan “Theatre for Social Change.” Anita and her group annually organize Gursharan Singh Naat Utsav, a theatre festival. Anita’s notable works include
