Molina Singh

Molina Singh is an actress working in the Bollywood industry. She was born into a family of prominent actors, and it seems fate had already directed Molina to become an actor. Her grandfather, Mr. Ghanaashyam Singh, was the most famous musician of his time (he played the Manipuri string instrument "Pena"). Her aunt is renowned for mastering the "Başok sakpi" folk song form. Her mother Shrimati Sarojini Devi was also a Manipuri dancer. Therefore, Molina Singh started getting acquainted with the art of dance at three. Initially, she learned Manipuri folk dances and various Indian folk dances.

Molina later started learning Kathak dance under the guidance of Guru Smt Bina Moitra. Then, she was honored by 'Bangiya Sangeet Parishad' five years after her graduation. She has given many public performances in Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Delhi. With a solid foundation, she applied to the National Kathak Academy in New Delhi. There she graduated with honors under the guidance of the kathak guru of Jaipur gharana Smt. Urmila Nagar and Pt. Birju Maharaj.

Molina also attended a six-month refresher course in Kathak under the guidance of Pt. Ram Mohan Mishra, Pt. Shambhu Maharaj, Sriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra, New Delhi. Meanwhile, she met Mr. Ibrahim Alqazi, who recently opened his school for advanced theater education, naming it Living Theater School. Molina had won a scholarship there and became a successful actor at the end of four years after graduation. Later, she received a two-year theater scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Human Resources and Development of India.
