Ananya Khare was born on March 16, 1968 in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is an actress from Bollywood who performed on numerous popular movies on a supporting role, such as the Indian romantic drama film, Devdas on 2002 as Kumud Mukherjee and the 2001 Hindi film, 'Chandni Bar', where she got the Indian National Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also appeared in TV serials for almost 20 years before she got her success on the big screen. Ananya got several awards for performing on stage, TV and even in the big screen.
Her real name is Preeti Khare from the Hindu Kayastha family. She studied at Holy Child Auxilium School in Delhi then mastered the German Literature in Jawaharial Nehru University. She dreamed to be an actress and knows ten different languages. Ananya is the daughter of the famous poet and journalist, Vishnu Khare and the sister of respected director, Apratiem Khare. She got married in 2004 and migrated to America to stay with her husband.
Ananya appeared on the last part of the show, Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq on Life OK under the Beyond Dreams Productions. She played as an antagonist and the evil mother of Adiya Redij, who played the role of Ishwar. Preeti Khare has another name, Ananya Khare. She was born in Madhya Pradesh, India, in a Hindu family (Kayasthas) in Ratlam. She was born on March 16. She did her schooling in Holy Child Auxillium School, New Delhi and later did her Master’s degree in German Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University; though she always wanted to pursue her profession in Film Industry. And she is conversant in more than ten languages. She starred in supporting roles in many of the successful Bollywood movies like Devdas and Chandni Bar.

And she also took the small screen for lead in serials, which includes the famous serial ‘ Nirmala’ in 1987’s. She strived hard in the small screen to get herself on big screens. Consequently, she has been awarded the Indian National Award for best supporting actress for the role she played in Chandni Bar, and she was nominated for the role she played in Devdas. With that, she had won many awards for her roles in stage shows, both small and big screens.
