Kashif Mehmood is a prominent Pakistani actor and a producer, who started his career as a stage actor in the year 1993. He is also doing minor roles in television plays. His breakthrough came when Muuno Bhai offered him for a role on PTV Home’s 'Zaroorat'. In the following year, he acted and produced 'Aashiana' on the same channel. His character as Saif became popular among the viewers and until now, people still recognize him as Saif.
He has worked for several PTV Home’s television drama serial including 'Dil Lagi', 'Saawan', and 'Boota from Toba Tek Singh', 'Landa Bazar', 'Tum Yahi Kehna' and '
'. In 2004, Kashif played as Eunuch Babar on ARY Digital’s 'Moorat'; a story of a boy, who is always beaten by his father and his brother and trying to find love outside the home. He was also seen on Geo TV’s TV serial such as 'Mehndi Wale Haath', 'Dilruba Nautanki', 'Koi Aur Hai' and many more. He has been part of 'Bhatti Chowk' (ATV Pakistan), '
' (ARY Digital), 'Ishq Hamari Galiyon Mein' (Hum TV), and 'Love Life Aur Lahore' (A-Plus). He was last seen on ARY Digital’s 'Aurat Aur Char Dewari'.
Kashif is the founder of Ashiana Friends, a production Academy, whose primary goal is to bring aspiring youngsters into the production field. He believes that every youth has theirhidden talent, but they do not have the opportunity to use it. Kashif shared that when he entered production, he had to face many difficulties, and he does not want the youth to suffer the same way he did. Hence, he started his very own production academy.
In 2014, he starred in the Pakistani action romance film, 'Sultanat', helmed by Syed Faisal Bukhari. This movie was said to be the most expensive Pakistani film with its 22 crore budget.
