Iris Maity

Iris Maity is an Indian model and actress known for her different roles in various Hindi television serials. Iris Maity is a science graduate who completed her MBA in marketing. Iris Maitey can sing and paint and is also a trained actor. She is the daughter of Bhaskar Maity, a national football player who represented India in Asian Games.

Until 2008, Iris was just a simple Bengali girl with normal ambitions of a quiet, successful life. All this changed when she entered the Channel V Get Gorgeous Contest on 2008. Iris Maity won the modelling-themed reality show. Along with the crown of the show, she also won a contract worth Rs 1 million contracts with the channel and ICE model management. Besides the TV show, she also won Miss India Tourism Metropolitan 2007, and the 'I AM photogenic title in the 'I AM SHE 2010' held on 28 May 2010 in Mumbai.

Although she is a model, she has appeared in a couple of Hindi movies. She was a part of Bigg Boss Bangla in its first season. She has appeared in several print media campaigns with Fair and Lovely, Satya Paul and Nestle Munch. A Television commercial for 7 UP is also on her credit list.
