Ajita Kulkarni

Ajeeta Kulkarni or popularly known as “Ajita Kulkarni” is a model and actress. She was born on June 8, 1976. She completed her schooling from King George V High School, Mumbai. She further attended University of Mumbai for her graduation.

She started her movie career from the movie ‘ Tera Mera Saath Rahen’, which released in the year 2001. She was also seen in a movie titled, ‘Siyasat – The Politics’ which released in 2006. In 2009, she performed the role of “Jyotsna J. Patel” in a movie titled ‘What's Your Raashee?’. In the same year, she also appeared in a Marathi movie, ‘Varat Aali Gharat’, which was released on Feb, 2009. The next year, i.e. in 2010, she played the role of “Gul’s” Mom in the movie, ‘Ada... A Way of Life’. She also acted in a Hindi Play titled ‘No Mangni but Shaadi’, during Sep 2010. She has also acted in a Marathi movie, ‘Dum Asel Tar’, which was released in 2012.

Recently she played the role of “Sushma Pushkar Gupta” in a TV series, called ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha-Meetha Pyaara-Pyaara’. This serial ran from 2012 to 2014 on Star Plus. She had also appeared in a TV drama ‘Love Ne Mila Di Jodi’, which was aired on Star One from June 2009 to Feb 2010.

She had appeared in a number of advertisements as well. The most noteworthy are of Amul, Mysore Sandal Soap, Lafarge Concreto Cement and Kabjamrut. In all these advertisements, she has donned the role of a spouse or mother as she has a beautiful smile.

Ajita also feels that, Bollywood should be infused with more new creative ideas blended with technology to compete with Hollywood. She mentioned in one of her interviews that in the earlier times when the actor or actresses used to seem like a mystery to the audience has been changed with the advent of social media and many television channels.
