Hindi Lyricist Kshitij Patwardhan

Kshitij Patwardhan, an Indian screenwriter, playwright, director of theatre, and lyricist, was born on January 11, 1985. Kshitij Patwardhan educated at Bharat Marathi Vidyalaya and Abhinav Marathi Vidyalaya after being born into a Maharashtrian household in Pune. He began writing while still in school and participated in interschool contests where he won several awards. He becameinterested in writing after obtaining a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in communication and journalism. He won the renowned Tarun Tejankit Award in 2019, the Filmfare Award for best script in 2018, and the Filmfare Award for best lyrics in 2020.

He has also received several state honors from Maharashtra, the Zee Gaurav, the MIFTA, and the Star Pravah Ratna for his remarkable work in Marathi film. He received a United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)-Laadli National Award for Creative Excellence for Social Change while employed for Setu Advertising in Pune for copywriting a print advertisement on ending sex selection. Nava Gadi Nava Rajya, Kshitij Patwardhan's first commercial play in Marathi, was well-liked by young people. It received more than 25 accolades throughout its 475 episodes.

He wrote several advertisements for well-known Marathi firms. His contributions include the Pro Kabaddi League campaigns from 2015 and 2017. He created and released Darya, an illustrated Marathi book, in 2017. Vikram Patwardhan, his brother, wrote it.
