Utsav Dan

Utsav Dan is a director, screenwriter, producer, songwriter, and music composer. He was born in West Bengal, India. He completed his secondary schooling from South Point High School. Then, he studied for a Bachelor of Arts in English Honours at the University of Calcutta. He completed his post-graduation in film director from Roopkala Kendra. He is fluent in speaking English, Hindi, and Bengali.

He had worked as a freelance and assistant director. He has directed several commercials, short films, documentaries, promotional films, and non-fiction shows for the Viacom 18 network. He has undergone fellowships with The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in New Median Urban Culture and Art practice and Microsoft over music and Film. He has worked with SVF Entertainment for content and video production. Utsav has produced the world’s most-viewed travel film, Orelireshka.

He has worked in numerous documentary series like Great Big Story, Rotaract International, and many more. He also worked in the BreakPoint documentary series, which was telecasted on ZEE5.
