Sourav Sarkar is famous for making films like Nagal (2013), Anoochcharito (2011), The Humane Judicature (2021), and The Stolen Star (2023). He was born in West Bengal, where he had his education and pursued his future career in filmmaking. Sourav Sarkar had schooling at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith Purulia and later went to IIEST, Shibpur, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science.
One of his big projects of 2023 is “Abhinn Ang - The Inseparable Limb” (the short documentary film), for which he has fulfilled the director role. He has also worked as an actor for a particular film, Nagal, a short film released in 2013. Sourav Sarkar owns Fragrant Creation, which was founded in 2014. One of his movies, ‘Anoochcharito’ was screened at the 3rd India International Film Festival, Tampa Bay, 2012.
