Salman Alam Khan is a famous filmmaker and photographer. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his graduation as a media student. Salman Alam Khan has worked as an independent photographer for many international companies like Samsung and Huawei. He has even worked for the European Union. He has contributed to many famous short films including Roses in the Waste, No Beloved, Four Fifty Five ml and Okra King as a cinematographer. His other works include short films such as Sound of Silence, Breaking Barriers: The Manka Dhingra Story, Connecting the Dots and The Maid.
He also worked as a cinematographer in No beloved. It was nominated as the best short film by South Asian Film Festival of Montreal. The film was released in many countries in 2021. He also worked as the director of photography in Out of Range, which is also a short film released in 2022. He has also worked as a cinematographer in television series and films like A Place called Pakistan in 2020, Allegory and A Tapestry of Guru Nanak's Travels during 2021-22. He worked as a field director and cinematographer in Never Out of Reach in 2022. He was the cinematographer of Yaar Julahay in 2021, which is a web series by Zee TV. He has also directed Out Beyond. In 2018, he worked as a cinematographer and director in a short documentary called Knitted Beliefs.
