Mehra Kushzraj

Kushzraj Mehra is an Indian filmmaker, director, and scriptwriter. He has a deep family root of connection to art and performance in Kanpur. He graduated in Mass Communication/ Media Studies from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Mehra is also the author of his published book. Mehra started his career as a third assistant director at Pumpkin Media Private Limited. He also took a chance in a short-acting gig at Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd. He appeared as the prospective groom of Alia Bhat’s character Safina. After graduation in 2018, Mehra made a short film, New Bombay Cafe. The short film was screened in the prestigious Mumbai Film Festival, in 2018. He also directed two other short films, Vacuum and Zara Hans Ke Dikhao.

He was a DA and Continuity Supervisor for the Marathi language Zee5 web series Hutatma (2019). Mehra was also a visiting faculty in Jai Hind College. He was a post-production assistant at Cinemaa Production Pvt. Ltd. Mehra published his book, You Never Know- Stories of Love and Freedom during the lockdown in 2020. The book is available on Amazon Kindle. Mehra then worked for 7sHR as a creative director. He handled short format scripts and executed videos from pre to post-production. In 2021, he joined creative, media and technology company Schbang as a director. Mehra also worked on various commercials and brand films like Medimix, Plum, Aditya Birla Group and many more.
