Rabiranjan Maitra is an Indian actor and an editor working in the Bengali cinema. He was born in 1962, in the city of Howrah, in West Bengal. He entered this field of editing and acting in the year 1990. Before entering the film industry, Rabiranjan Maitra started his career by debuting in a Television movie Tero Sandhyar Galpo in 1990. He is well-known for his work in the movies Tobu Mone Rekho (1994), Mr. and Mrs. Iyer (2002), Rok Sako Toh Rok Lo (2007), Challenege (2009), Chalo Paltai (2011), and many more. His last movie to enter the cinema was Kabir (2018), directed by Aniket Chattopadhyay. Till now, with his expertise and never-ending dedication for his work, he has worked in more than forty movies. We have seen Rabirnajan in the movies Cockpit (2017), 13 No Tarachand Lane (2015), Jodi Ekdin (2010), Dahan (1998), and many more. Mostly he is recognized as a serious actor.
Along with, acting and editing, Rabirnajan Maitra, is an enthusiast for home decor. He spent one year of his time to change the decor of his apartment. He spent an amount of Rs. 22 lakhs on the decoration of his entire space. He chose to give even the smallest things, his personal touch. He likes to bring out each and everything with creativity and beauty.
