Aniket Chattopadhyay is a well-known Bengali film director and journalist. He was born on January 9, 1963. His hometown is Kolkata, West Bengal. He completed his school education at Naktala High. He then completed his Diploma in Advanced Visual Effects from the Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics in 2011. He has been married to Sahana. He debuted in 2009 with Chha-e Chhuti as a writer and director.
He has directed many films, like Chha-e Chhuti in 2009, Bye Bye Bangkok in 2011, the Romantic Comedy Film Goray Gondogol in 2012, Mahapurush O Kapurush in 2013, Janala Diye Bou Palalo in 2014, Room No. 103 in 2015, Shankar Mudi in 2019 and Kabir in 2018, Hoichoi Unlimited in 2018, Tuski in 2018, Shankar Mudi in 2019, and Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri in 2021. He has also worked as the news editor of Bengali news channel Kolkata TV.
