The film editor, Dhiman Ghosh Chaudhary, was born and brought up in Kolkata. He pursued his education from Andrews High School and a bachelors from Surendranath College. Dhiman initiated his career as an editor from Zee Bangla in Kolkata only. He likes to click photos in his free time. The drama-romance movie Jism released in 2003, was his debut film in which he worked as an assistant editor.
Impressed by his editing, the various directors gave him a chance to edit in various films, including Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai,
