Sizil Shrivastava

Sizil Shrivastava is an Indian advertisement and web series director. He worked in popular commercials such as Amazon, Whisper, and Cadbury Perk. Born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Sizil Shrivastava went to Mahanagar Boys Inter College for schooling and completed his communication design degree from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Before entering into film direction, Sizil worked with firms such as Percept D' Mark, and Encompass Events.

In 2011, he joined MTV India in the Creative and Content Department and used to plan ad-sales related promotions for the channel. Sizil moved his base to the writing and direction department and started writing for promotional campaigns and films. In this five-year tenure with the TV station, he directed and produced some socially-relevant campaigns such as Beef Got Hashed and Durex Rex Talk. He has been part of the MTV's social media medium such as MTV Act, MTV Rock the Vote, and directed the very first promo of MTV Roadies. His video 'Beef Got Hashed' reached well globally and got listed among the top viral videos of 2016. In 2016, Sizil made his directorial debut with the television mini-series Official Chukyagiri, produced by Arre. In 2018, Sizil got back to direction with the television series 'The Good Vibes.' The series was welcomed favorably by the audiences. Sizil has been a freelance filmmaker since 2017 and has worked in several advertisements for brands such as Tata Sky, Shopclues, Big Bazaar, and Myntra. Sizil also directed some of the promotional videos for ICICI Bank, based on the real lives transformed by the latter. He acknowledges them as one of his best works.
