Began to learn classical music at an early age of 8. His first performance was in a Marathi play, Varhad Nighala London La in front of his class, in school. He started acting in plays for Purshottam Karandak theatre competition.
He started Natak Company in 2008, which produced Marathi plays. He has featured in Forbes Asia’s 30 under 30 lists. He has won many awards including The Best Director Award, Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration, etc.
