Sharanjit Bassi

Sharanjit Singh, well known as Sharanjit Bassi a filmmaker, editor and screenwriter was born in Phillaur, a small town near Ludhiana, Punjab, in the year 1983. He was an active participant in the Bhangra Dance team from his school life. Slowly he chose his career as a Bhangra dancer. He passed the 10th from the school of his town and proceeded further to Ramgarhia College, Phagwara College. Before the final exam, he left his studies and started his film career, which he was passionate about. Their work inspired him a lot, and he decided to be a filmmaker. He did a full-time job in the Indian film industry from 2000 to 2006.

This working period gave him ample opportunity to learn and experience filmmaking from renowned Directors and filmmakers. He started screenwriting, and storytelling as an additional skill. In 2008, he finally founded his own production house “Aron Showbiz”. The production house is one of the best in North India and well-equipped with a vast range of styles and technology of filmmaking which includes, 2D, 3D/ CGI, Motion Graphics, Stop-Motion and more. The production house demonstrates the experience and knowledge of Sharanjit Bassi as an editor, filmmaker, cinematographer and screenwriter.
