Rajeev Virani is an Indian director and producer.He has trained from San Fransisco, California in the USA. Even though his training is from the West, his movies principally have the essence of the East. He completed his initial education at St. Mary’s School in Bombay. He was born in 1969. His mother’s name is Shobha Virani. He is married and has two children. He has an elder daughter, and a younger son. He has received a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from the reputed Sydenham College in Mumbai in the year 1990. After having completed his graduation, he felt compelled to attempt a new and innovative career stream rather than the usual MBA or CA preparations. He was very confused. He then decided to partner with his cousin who lived in New York. They ran a diamond trading business,but even then Rajeev felt the need to do more.

It was during then that he began discovering his love for television and movies. On finding out that it was his passion, he began enrolling into various film institutes. The San Fransisco State University accepted him, and he joined the course in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts. This program was an integrated course, and in 5 years he received a Bachelor and Master degree. He felt extremely involved in all the campus activity and finally was relieved that he had chosen the right field. Rajeev admits that it was San Francisco Bay Area that acted as an influence for him to chase a career in the film industry. The Producer Brad Listermann, on his friends’ references, contacted Rajeev and they fixed a meeting for a new project. This project later turned out to be Rajeev Virani’s directorial debut My Bollywood Bride.

Although the film did not do extremely well at the box office, but it made a mark enough to be renamed as My Faraway Bride and to be even released in DVD format. On completion of My Faraway Bride, Rajeev came in contact with one of the entrepreneurs who had worked on that project. The person, Mr. Ashok, later turned out to be the perfect person who Rajeev was willing to risk on for his next venture, The Whisperers. He made use of his Hollywood and Bollywood contacts and started to work on The Whisperers, which received rave reviews from themost audience that viewed the movie. After The Whisperers, Rajeev directed the horror thriller Help, which had Mugdha Godse and Bobby Deol playing the lead role. The movie got mixed reviews. He currently lives in Mumbai and continues to chase a career in directing.

Ajay Chandhok is the son of actor Kamaldeep who is has done a lot of character roles in Bollywood films. Ajay Chandhok is a Writer-Director who came into the field in the year 1989. He worked in ‘Gola Barood’ as an assistant director to David Dhawan. He worked as an assistant director for David Dhawan in 4 more films ‘Swarg,’ ‘Aankhen,’‘Aag Ka Gola’ and ‘Taaqatwar’ until the year 1993. In the year 1994, Ajay was made chief Assistant director to David Dhawan and worked with him in the film ‘Eena Meena Deeka’ and ‘Coolie No. 1’ which released a year later. In 1997, he continued working for Dhawan and gave commercial successes ‘Judwaa’ and ‘Hero No. 1’ followed by ‘Deewana Mastana.’ He continued working as the chief assistant director of David Dhawan in the films ‘Gharwali Bharwali’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ which released in the year 1998. Ajay was promoted to the Associate Director by David Dhawan in the film ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’ which released in the year 1999. In 2000, Ajay worked in ‘Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge’ as the associate director for David Dhawan followed by the film ‘Kunwara’ and ending the year with ‘Chal Mere Bhai​'. He worked as the associate in the films ‘Jodi No 1’ and ‘Because I Don’t Lie’ in the year 2001. In the year 2002, Ajay worked on the films ‘Hum Kissie Se Kum Nahin,' ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’ and ‘Chor Maashaye Shor’ under David Dhawan. In 2003, Ajay worked as the associate director in the flick ‘Ek Aur Ek Gyaarah’ directed by David Dhawan. David Dhawan had directed Actor Govinda as leading actor in 17 comedy films, and Ajay Chandhok has worked in most of them under the tutelage of David Dhawan. After a break of nearly four years, Ajay Chandhok returned to the big screen with his first Directorial Debut ‘Nehlle Pe Dehlla’ which he wrote himself. Ajay directed two films in 2009, ‘Kissie Pyaar Karoon?’ and ‘Team: The Force. ’In the year 2011, he directed the film ‘Chatur Singh Two Star’ which had Sunil Dutt in the lead role. In 2005, He directed the film ‘Hey Bro’ with Choreographer Ganesh Acharya in the lead. Ajay learned cinema by working with David Dhawan who is known predominantly for his comedy flicks. The same is also true for Ajay, as comedy plays a vital factor in his movies. Ajay has had a string of his films getting released after a delay. Ajay directed a film ‘KhallBalli’ which was slated to release in 2008 but somehow got shelved. In 2017, Ajay directed a Punjabi film ‘Krazzy Tabbar’ which was well received by critics and audience.
