Raghav Marwah

Raghav Marwah, known primarily as a director, aspired to become a part of the entertainment industry when he enrolled for a diploma in acting for film and television at AAFT in 2003. During his one-year course, he also focused on entertainment and media management.

The following year, he pursued a master’s diploma in film making, cinematography, and film production at the same institute. In 2005, he sought another certification in film and video studies at the New York Film Academy.

In 2006, Marwah landed a job as an assistant director with BSK Network & Entertainment Pvt Ltd. During his three-year stint with the company, he worked on the 2009 action-thriller flick Wanted, which proved to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The movie also went on to bag several awards. Marwah was involved in the pre-production, production, and post-production of the film. He oversaw the production schedule, creation of budgets, auditioning, casting, scouting for locations, and many other requirements for the film. He was also responsible for leading the promotion, marketing and PR teams and supervising the promotional and marketing shoots for the movie.

In 2010, the director switched to Sphere Origins Multivision Pvt Ltd as an associate creative head. He worked on the television series Gulaal, a daily soap telecast on Star Plus.

Later, in 2016, he worked as a producer for the 2017 short film Signal, where he also acted. The short, helmed by Debanshu Chaudhury, also featured Steve Lall, who played Steve. Raghav is also credited with the web series Live Love Laugh. He was involved in conceiving and producing the entire series. He is the director of the Marwah Film Company, a production branch of the Marwah Studios, located in Film City, Noida. Marwah is the founder of the company which he started in 2014.

Besides heading Marwah Film Company, the director is also known for being the vice president of AAFT Online, an online platform for studying creative arts. Besides the accomplishments mentioned above, Raghav also secured a high school diploma in selling and sales operations at the North-western University- Kellogg School of Management in 2021. He also underwent conscious entrepreneurship program in business, marketing, and management at SKC World from 2019 to 2021.
