Manphool Dangi is known as the ‘ Big B Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ of the Haryanvi film industry. He worked as a director, actor and producer in the industry. He was born on 15 March 1939 in Rajpur village. He is famous for his role in the popular Haryanvi movie ‘Chandrawal’ (1984). In the movie, he played the role of Father of the lead actress Chandrawal. It is the third Haryanvi language film and the first financially successful one. On 4th July 1959, he welcomed Jawaharlal Nehru by performing a song, at the inauguration ceremony of ‘Motilal Nehru Sports School’ situated in Rai, Sonepat in Haryana. Jawaharlal Nehru was immensely impressed by Manphool’s talent and recommended him for the job. Unfortunately, the actor died on 2 April 2017, at the age of 78 years.Â
