Homi Adajania is an Indian film writer and director. Homi got married with Anaita Shroff Adajania in the year 2002. “Being Cyrus” was the movie that was released in 2006 was the directorial debut of Homi Adajania that was an unusual English-language emotional drama for which he gained crucial praise. However, the movie was unsuccessful commercially but still earned critical acclaim. Rajeev Masand, who is a film critic, calls this movie a fashionable thriller that's told in an enormously appealing style. According to one of his interview, he likes watching peoples at the airport. Homi’s hobby involves painting and reading novels. He then again directed the commercially winning Hindi-language loving comedy movie Cocktail that was released in 2012. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has written the script of this movie and Dinesh Vijan, and Saif Ali Khan has produced the movie under their banner Illuminati Films. The lead characters were played by debutante actress Diana Penty, stylish Deepika Padukone and charming Saif Ali Khan while Boman Irani and Dimple Kapadia were casted in supporting roles. This movie got the huge collection in box office after three weeks in India so that the movie was declared a hit film in abroad and India. This film earned positive to mixed reviews from critics. Humorous comedy film Finding Fanny was the third directorial venture of Adajania's that was released in September 2014 in both Hindi and English. The star cast of this film includes Arjun Kapoor as the lead actor with Deepika Padukone as the actress. The movie has inward mainly optimistic reviews and has had a stable run at the box office.
