Farida Pacha is a director and producer born in 1972, Mumbai. She completed her graduation in sociology and anthropology. Farida has directed and produced mesmerizing films like My Name Is Salt in 2013; Watch Over Me in 2021; The Women In Blue Berets in 2012; Ripples Of Change, 2009; The Seed Keepers, 2005. She has got an MFA in filmmaking at Southern Illinois University, USA. She has amazed people with her captivating work in documentaries. My name is salt, is her 1st distinctive feature film, which bagged her first appearance award at IDFA, Amsterdam. She worked on various educational, experimental, and documentary films. She got a national film award in 2006 because for her impressive work in ‘The Seed keepers.’ She has also worked on numerous social evils existing in society.
