Ankit Arya is a writer and director. He was born in New Delhi, India. After receiving his BA in journalism and mass communication from the Amity School of Communication, he went on to the London Film School to earn his MA in film-making. He is fluent in 3 languages which are Hindi, English, and French. He now works in Mumbai on commercials, corporate films, feature films, and documentaries. Ankit worked as an assistant director for various digital marketing campaigns including viral videos, commercials, corporate films, clinical documentaries, and government-funded movies in Delhi before relocating to Mumbai.
In 2014, he worked as an Assistant Director at QED Communications and now he is working as an Associate Director in Freelance Film Production. Gujjubhai the Great (2015), File No. 323, and GujjuBhai - Most Wanted (2018) are among Ankit Arya's best-known works.
