Suhail Abbasi is a media expert having 25 years of experience in print, television, movies, and digital platforms. He is a resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Suhail completed his Master's in Design and Visual Communication from IIT Bombay in the year 1986 and also possesses a diploma from Sir J.J. School of Arts. He has assisted prominent directors like Ketan Mehta, Mukul Anand, and Sai Paranjpye in their work. Suhail is a Trustee and Co-Founder of The Humsafar Trust and the Adjunct Professor at IIT-KGP, MICA Ahmedabad & Digital Academy in Mumbai. He has served as an independent examiner for the Master's in Communication Design program at IDC, IIT Bombay, for more than 15 years. Suhail's first film as a director is "Cover Story" (2017). Suhail Abbasi is famed for the movies Hero Hiralal (1988) and Raja Bro (2022).
