A S Ravikumar Chowdary

A.S Ravikumar Chowdary is an Indian film director and mainly in tollywood and writer. Some of his well-acclaimed films are Yagnam(2004), Veerabhadra (2006), Atadista (2008) and Em Pillo Em Pillado (2010). A.S Ravi Kumar Chowdary was born in Narakoduru village in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. During those times,Narakoduru village had a record in making of stage artists. Nearly half of the people of the village were used to be stage artists.

AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary has done his graduation from JKC College in Guntur. He has gained huge success in extracurricular activities while in s college and thus the college supported him financially and emboldened him to sharpen his skills in these activities. A S Ravikumar Chowdary got his first break as a director in the year 2002 for the film Manasutho but the film did not do well. However, he didn’t lose hope and worked with more energy for another script. His perseverance and destiny worked for him and he got to direct the film ‘Yagnam’ in the year 2004. The film was a huge success and after that, he got the opportunity to direct films from almost all prominent banners.

The movie ‘Yagnam' also launched Gopichand as a successful actor. After ‘Yagnam', he started working on two projects, first was Veerabhadra (2006) and second was Aatadistha (2008).
