Vikram Sahu is an Indian actor and director. He works in both television and film industry. He started his career with the Hindi film ‘Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyan’, which released in the year 1967.

Later he acted in the films like ‘Zameen’, ‘Apaharan’, ‘ Om Shanti Om’ and a few more till date; in ‘Om Shanti Om’ he played the role of OK’s doctor, OK character was played by Shah Rukh Khan.

He has also acted in TV series like ‘ Vikram Aur Betaal’ (1988) and ‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’ (2015). In 2012, he directed a short film which was named ‘Birthday Cake’.

Vikram Kapadia is one of the versatile names in Indian theater. He is a director, playwright and the energy source behind the Masque Theatre Group. He is considered to be one of the very few who has brought satire to a trendy level to regular general audiences. His present successful play, ‘Blak with Equal’ is a comedy that illustrates the troubles of the residents of a housing society in suburban India. Vikram Kapadia was brought up in a ‘theatre’ based environment. He was blessed by the guidances of Pearl Padamsee, a very skilled theater personality, in school when he was eight. He thinks that the school productions he participated in were of highly qualified in comparison to cit’s theater of these days. He has performed in plays like ‘Alladin’ and it was an incredible lifetime experience for him. Vikram Kapadia completed his graduation from the Actor’s Studio in Bombay in 1981. The institute was run by Roshan Taneja, an ex-Principal of Acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. He had gathered experiences through attending workshops performed by many famous foreign experts, by Indian veterans as well. The important stage performances by Vikram are ‘The Good Doctor(1984)’, ‘Evam Indrajit(1986)’, ‘As You Love It (1987)’, ‘The Caine Mutiny Court Martial(1993)’ and ‘Taghlaq(1994)’. AR Gurney’s ‘The Dining Room(1989), Schisgal’s ‘The Typists(1990)’, Pirandello’s ‘Six Characters In Search Of An Author(1987)’ and Makrand Deshpande’s ‘Musk Maiden(1999)’ are some significant directional projects of Vikram. He also has co-directed Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar(1992)’ with Naseeruddin Shah.
