Aditya Havelia

Aditya Havelia is an Indian Photographer or a DOP. He did his Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida (2004-2007). Then he did P.G Diploma in Still Photography from Jamia Millia Islamia (M.C.R.C), New Delhi, and then from 2008, Aditya did his diploma in cinematography, from Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. His hometown is in Mumbai, Maharastra, and currently, he is living in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He came into Professional Photography by chance, he developed his talent in photography when he was pursuing mass communication and ended up being trained by a trained cinematographer from Mumbai.

In 2016, he started teaching Photography at Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Fine Arts Department. From 2017- 2018 he was the visiting faculty at the mass communication research center Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He is a former Photographer at Freelance Photographer. He also shot a Promotional Campaign for ‘Teach for India’. He conducted a Cinematography workshop in Ethiopia and also assisted Mr. Krishnamurthy on the sets of ‘Gutargoon’, a show aired on SUB TV. Even though he worked on so many serials, ads, and commentary he is most comfortable in Underwater Photography, Wildlife Photography, Nature Photography, and Travel Photography. His first ever Underwater Photography Exhibition was in Uttar Pradesh in 2018. He even got the opportunity to dive into the ‘Sipadan National Park’ and take underwater photographs.
