Bhavana was born in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in a big family. The unique part about her family was that all four of the Purohit sisters were dancers by birth and had debuted their career with Dance India Dance. She entered the B-Town with an all strange profile. She started her journey in the film world with ‘Ring Road,’ A drama thriller which is about the changes which come in life through small decisions by us and how they can shake your whole world down.

Instead, for going for the acting career, she chose to work as a crew member in this film. This film got released in 2015. In an interview, Khusboo mentioned that after seeing her on the national television, Bhawana got motivated for her career in acting and that was the point when she started giving auditions for the same.
