He also garnered a standing ovation for his debut professional performance at the Lakme India Fashion Week (LIFW) last month. An exhibition featuring the young designer's chic and avant-garde clothing will be presented at Designer's Lounge, Al Mina Road, on June 1 and 2, from 10 am to 8.30 pm. Dubai's fashion enthusiasts can attend. Kalim is from Patna in North India, and since he was young, he has been passionate about fashion design.

The pivotal moment occurred when he was chosen as one of the 16 candidates for the reality competition Lakme Fashion House on the Star One television network. The 16 candidates were sequestered in a mansion on an island for more than a month, cut off from the outside world. With 32 cameras recording their every action and emotion, they worked on their creations day and night.

However, Kalim supported the judges' choice by exhibiting a novel yet experienced collection at his first trade show. The collection, which had the slogan Brazen Bollywood Meets Rodeo Drive, was a riot of color.
