Shashwat Maheshwari is a stand-up comedian, editor, and writer. He was born and brought up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He went to Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani for his higher education. Shashwat started by working with the Scoopwhoop Media house as a writer. In 2016, he joined Pocket Aces Pictures Limited as the editorial manager. Now he works as a freelance writer and has written scripts for a show on History Channel titled Crazy Wheels.
He works with Sony Pictures Networks India as a commentator on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His career in stand-up started with participation in Comicstaan, which is an Indian stand–up competition. Since then he has been doing stand-up acts all across the country. He also has his own YouTube channel.
