Yash Khanna is an Indian cinematographer who works predominantly in Hollywood. His father, Kiran Khanna, is a production designer who has worked on many well-known Bollywood hits while his grandfather was an art director. So, coming from this cinematic legacy, Yash was drawn to cinematography and could have easily found his place in Bollywood. But he decided to take the more challenging road toward Hollywood. Yash studied cinematography at the University of California, Los Angeles, the New York Film Academy in the United States, and the Vikshi Institute for Cinematic Techniques in Mumbai.
Being known for his experimentality, he has worked on various films that challenge him to devise new strategies and add another angle to his vision. His works include Wandering Eyes, Quarter, Funny Man, How to Get Girls, Slipaway, Exit, Ouija Summoning, etc. His work has won awards and nominations at many film festivals worldwide.
