Yash Mittal is an Indian television child actor who is known for his roles in the comedy serial Khichdi Instant Khichdi, and the tie-in movie of the same name. He acted in the above serials when he was nine years old. He has not been active after that, with no roles in new television serials or movies.
Yash’s parents were very supportive of his foray into the world of acting. According to a source, they were convinced by a family friend to allow him into the industry. His parents moved from Mumbai to Agra to help him make a career in the industry. He and his on-screen sister, Richa Bhadras, were among the few child actors who wanted to continue with their acting careers as they grew up. This has apparently failed for him who can be seen by the lack of any of his new television shows or movies. Like most child actors, he has faded into oblivion after a brief stint in the limelight.
In ‘Khichdi’, he plays the role of the intelligent son of Jayshree Parekh, and he has a catchphrase that he repeats a lot together with his sister. The catchphrase is “Bade Log, Bade Log”, which reads as ‘Big people, big people’ when literally translated. The catchphrase refers to the hilarious and sometimes stupid antics of the adults in Khichdi. He was praised for his good acting skills and was also praised for his comic talent.
