Athit Naik

Athit Naik is a Cinematographer, Director of Photography (DOP), and a Visual Artist. His place of birth is Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his graduation from Columbia in 2014. He left India at the age of 18 to study film production in the Philippines and later moved to Los Angeles to get a degree. Today, he is a Co-Founder at Origami Transmedia, Mumbai.   Athit married Dr. Akshada Kadam Naik on the 9^th of December, 2020.  He is a pet lover and a father of two great pups (dogs).

 He works on projects like Social media ads, Advertisements, Music videos, Live shooting, Film. He said in an interview that he has realized that there is enough talent in the field of acting and, the world needs more storytellers and people behind the camera. And, so he decided to quit acting, but he hasn’t fully parted ways from the industry. He chose to work behind the camera and set off as Director of Photography (DOP) and Cinematographer. He never regretted the decision to work behind the camera. He has also worked on a few projects like commercials and digital streaming series such as Kaale Dhande and Sex, Drugs & Theatre. His assignments include commercials, web series, short films, music videos, and a TV sitcom.
