Shipra Khanna is a celebrity chef, who rose to fame with after winning the famous reality show Master Chef India 2. Hailing from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh she was born on November 17, 1981. Shipra graduated from the St. Bede's College, Shimla earning a degree in economics and psychology. Shipra was married at the young age of 19, but the marriage did not work out due to the abuse she faced at the hands of her husband and in-laws. Later after leaving her husband, she decided to participate in Masterchef India 2 thereby winning it.

Shipra is quoted as the 'Youngest and one of the Glamorous chefs in the world' by India Today. Her book titled 'Sinfully Yours' won the best cookbook award at the World Gourmand Awards, in China in May 2017.
