Manish Sharma has also worked as an executive chef at Oberoi Udaivilas, voted as the best hotel in the world in the year 2007; as head chef and food and beverage at Oberoi Vanyavilas, rated the number one resort in Asia by Conde Naste Traveler, Readers' Choice Awards 2007; and as senior kitchen executive at The Trident Hilton Gurgaon. Manish Sharma completed a postgraduate degree lasting 2 years from 2001 to 2003 at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), Hotel Management School in Delhi. Manish Sharma did his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1996 to 1999.
