NP Singh

NP Singh is the former CEO of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), one of the biggest entertainment platforms in India. Starting his early education at Delhi Public School in 1966-1976, he went to Delhi University for graduated with B.Com. He completed his M.com commerce from Delhi School of Economics in 1982 and later, for FCMA Management Accounting, went to the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, where he was honored with a certificate of Merit. In his early career, NP Singh worked as Senior Accounts Officer at Hindustan Copper Limited from 1981 to 1988. He held several leadership positions in accounting before joining SPNI, including Spice Telecom, Modicorp, Modi Xerox Limited, etc.

In 1999, NP Singh joined SPNI as Chief Financial Officer and worked for four years. In 2004, he was promoted to Chief Operation Officer till 2013. Since then, he has occupied the post of the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the multiscreen media Pvt Ltd at Sony Entertainment Network. His excellence and experience in the corporate world made him the best choice for the company that built the leadership equity of Sony Entertainment globally. Apart from working at SPNI, NP Singh also lies on the Board of Directors at IBDF (Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation). He is the director of multiple company boards at the same time.
