Priyanka Sinha Jha

A woman of many talents, Priyanka Sinha Jha, is an author, journalist, editor, anchor, film critic, columnist, and whatnot. She has been ruling over every field, be it cinema or business, for over twenty years. Priyanka Sinha Jha was born in the year 1975 in India. Her mother, Dr. Rashmi Sinha, is a gynecologist. She did her schooling up to tenth at Loreto Convent School in Asansol, West Bengal, and completed her higher secondary education from Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi, in 1992. In 1992, she joined the Miranda House University of Delhi to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

Further, Priyanka Sinha attended Symbiosis Institute of Media and Institution in Pune for her Postgraduate degree in Journalism. Initially, Priyanka Sinha was more inclined towards advertising than journalism and also worked as an intern in an advertising agency for some time. But then, she received an offer from Citadel Magazine as a Correspondent and thus started her career as a journalist. Before taking over the position of Editor in Society Magazine in 2001, Priyanka Sinha Jha has worked with The Asian Age and Intelligent Investor. She performed as the editor of Society Magazine for over four years before working with Hindustan Times as an editor for HT Saturday and HT Style.

In 2007, Priyanka Sinha Jha worked as the editor of the Screen Entertainment Weekly print magazine and took over the responsibility of conducting the Screen Awards. She served for nearly seven years there, and in 2015, Priyanka Sinha Jha took over the position of Head of Content in Hotstar. Moreover, she worked for Star India as the Managing Editor and Head of Screen and Network18 as the Group editor for a brief period. She also constantly writes weekly columns in magazines. For many years, Priyanka Sinha Jha has been curating the jury panel of the Star Screen Awards.
