Chander Behl is an Indian author born in 1941 in the city of Jhang. Being born before the partition of India, he had to migrate out of his birthplace in the August of 1947. Chander Behl and his family had to start a new life in India. It took a few years to settle in a new place, having lost everything to the partition, but eventually, they settled in Delhi. He grew up in Delhi amidst the constant labeling of an immigrant living in a free and secular India. He has a long list of educational credentials- he completed his B.Sc from Hindu college(1962), B. Ed from the University of Delhi (1964), M.A in Philosophy from the University of Delhi (1966), and P. G Dip for Ed. Adm. from the University of Saskatchewan (1974). In 1967, he moved to London, the U.K, to work as a teacher in science. He then moved to Punnichy, Canada, in 1970, where he taught until his retirement in 1997. He published his first book " Anatomy of Spirituality: portrait of the soul" in April 2015.Â
