Kanika Chadda

Kanika Chadda or Kanika Chadda-Gupta now is an Indian television anchor and entrepreneur. She was born in Bombay and brought up in Gaithersburg, Maryland in the US. She took a BA in International Relations, Minor in Management at the Boston University. Chadda is a media professional with a wide experience in print, TV, and the digital landscape. In the same year, she has also worked as the Editor and Producer of the Voice of New York and has been the Executive Producer of the Zee TV USA. She founded the Kronologie Agency in 2015; it is her very own digital marketing firm, which specializes in content marketing, social media, video production, and web design. After mastering Broadcast Journalism at the University of Miami, she has searched for a niche in television.

She moved to Indian and worked as a television anchor for CNN, broadcasting the events from the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. She has emceed several events including Miss India Connecticut Pageant, Women’s Education Project charity fashion show, Molecule Communications’ Cinema Beyond Boundaries, and much more. Being an avid fan of the performing arts, she trained for 15 years in Kuchipudi Indian classical dance and has been a member of the Sa Dance Company.

In the year 2006, she has performed in a number of Bollywood productions by the Music Masala and travels to the Caribbean, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Nova Scotia, and Turkey through cruises. She was also crowned as the Miss People’s Choice and Miss India East Coast in a South Asian pageant. Chadda, her husband, and their twins (Krish and Suhana Gupta) are living in Secaucus, New Jersey.
