Rohit Haldikar is an Indian actor and voice artist who works primarily in Marathi and Hindi films. Rohit Haldikar was born on August 4th in the city in Maharashtra called Kolhapur. The actor attended S M Lohia High School in Kolhapur and completed his graduation from D.R.K. College of Commerce in the same city. He married Smita Babar. Before venturing into acting, Rohit performed mimicry and also did stand-up shows. Meanwhile, he got an opportunity to work as an RJ in Radio Mirchi Kolhapur. His RJ schedule was quite jam-packed as he did two live shows, two recorded shows, and film reviews.

Though his career as an RJ was glorious, Rohit Haldikar felt being an RJ was not a true calling for him. So, after working for two and half years in Radio Mirchi, he quit his job and moved to Mumbai. Growing up, Rohit Haldikar got influenced by theatre acting because of his uncle Sanjay Haldikar, who is a theatre activist. So, he took formal acting training from Bhalji Pendharkar Film and Theatre Academy in Kolhapur. After that, he performed in several plays in Kolhapur and even took part in state-level drama competitions. In 2013, Rohit Haldikar bagged his first television show named Eka Lagnachi Teesri Goshta, a Marathi language show. He played the role of Sameer Chaudhari in the Zee Marathi show. In the year 2017, Rohit Haldikar starred in the Marathi language political comedy film Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar. He played a brief role in the movie Gulabjaam and the TV series Hoen Ok Please in 2018. Rohit grabbed attention when he appeared in the Marathi comedy film Party as Manya. Following this, he did exceptionally well in the critically acclaimed movie Dokyala Shot in 2019. In the same year, he made a comeback to the small screen with the TV series Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa, where he plays a negative role as Sarkar.
