Archan Chakraborty is a vocalist working in the Bengali film industry. He was born into a respectable family in Kolkata and steppe into musical traditions in his early childhood. He received his training under the guidance of Shri Abhijeet Bandyapadhay, and his vocal prowess is his most valuable asset, characterized by its freshness, mellifluousness, and commanding presence. He is comfortable singing in various genres, such as contemporary, folk, and soft rock. Archan began his professional singing career when he placed first in a competition organized by HMV in 198, and his first album, Door Akasher Tara, was released by HMV, which was a remake of old nostalgic songs. Later on, he worked with T-series, Dhoom Music, and many other music companies in India.

Archan was the lead vocalist of Bangla Band KAYA from 2006 to 2012 and has performed in innumerable shows all across India. He has also performed in 16 leading cities in the USA during the 2007 and 2010 Durga Puja seasons. In 2012, he left the band and started performing as a soloist. Archan’s first basic album is ‘Podokkhep,’ which was released by Dhoom Music (a unit of Brand Value Communications). Podokkhep is among the top-selling albums of 2012. His second basic album was launched in September of 2013.
