Shampa Reza

Shampa Reza is a well-known Bangladeshi model, actress, and playback singer working mainly in the Bengali Entertainment Industry. She completed her early education at Holy Cross School, Dhaka, and later went to Shantiniketan in 1976 to study at Viswa Bharti University under the guidance of Guru Pandit Druvu Tara Joshi. Shampa started singing in her childhood at the age of 4 and started acting when Reza was in class 10 in 1976. She is the mother of two sons, namely Dhrubo and Tiash. Shampa Reza got her break into the television industry from a Tv drama, Idiot, in 2012.

Before this, she appeared in a film, Geurilla, in 2011 by Nasirudding Yousuff. In 2007, Shampa worked in Doll's House, a famous Tv series with the co-star Suborna Mustafa. Directed by Afsana Mimi and Badrul Anam Saud, the drama was released on 17 January 2007. Some of the hit movies by Shampa Reza are Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo in 2014, Sweetheart in 2016, Rina Brown and Hason Raja in 2017, Game Over in 2019, Before I Die in 2021, and Padmapuran in 2021. In 2015, Shampa was declared a Showbiz Fashion Icon by The Daily Star. She worked as a playback singer for the movie Kalmilata in 2981. For the song Rogini Jeno Ki, Shampa worked as a performer in Shahidul Haque Khan's film Kalmilata released on 15 December 1981.
