Sarmita dutta is a Bengali singer. She was born on the 16th July 1992. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Her hometown is in Ashoknagar, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She currently resides in Dum Dum. She completed her schooling from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, India. Her mother's name is Smt. Soma Dutta. Her husband's name is Prasenjit Biswas. Her hobbies include singing and traveling. Through hard work and determination, she made her TV debut on a reality show, Dil Hai Hindustani (season 2), aired on Star Plus. In 2016, she became the champion of the Indus Talent Hunt. In 2012, she became the winner of the Akashvani Rabindra Sangeet Competition. In 2012, she was 1st Runner at the Ranchi Youth Festival. In 2010, she became the champion at Inter-College Competition in Rabindra Sangeet, Kirtan, and Bhajan. In 2010, she became the 1st Runner at the Inter-College Competition in Bangla Adhunik Gaan.
