Prabuddha Roy is a promo producer who works on Bangla Television channels. He did his graduation from Hoogly Mohsin College, West Bengal, followed by a Diploma in cinematography and film/video production at the Regional Institute of Printing Technology, JADAVPUR. He started his career as a Chief Asst. Director at HMV Saregama India Ltd. and assisted the Bangla series "Apur Kotha" telecasted on the channel ETV Bangla. He also worked as a Chief Asst. Director at T Sarkar Production and Acropolis Entertainment. Under these productions, he assisted in the broadcast of serials such as "Alor Basa," broadcast on RUPASI BANGLA in the year 2011, and "Joto Hasi Toto Ranna," telecasted on Star Jalsa in the year 2013.

He was the chief assistant of the popular hit Bangla television series "Raaikishori" on ZEE Bangla. Later, he worked as an episode director at Subrata Roy Productions. Prabuddha Roy, in the year 2016, entered Zee Entertainment Enterprise Limited as an assistant director, promo producer, and content developer. After working for Zee Entertainment Enterprise Limited, he got into Sun TV Network Limited as a Promo Producer. Presently, he is a promo producer and content developer at Viacom 18 Private Limited. He is working as a promo producer for Colors Bangla under Viacom 18.
