Sonika Chauhan, also known as Sonika Simone Chauhan Singh, was an Indian actress, model, and television anchor. She was born on July 12, 1989, to Sharon Singh Chauhan and Vijay Singh Chauhan. She completed her schooling at La Martiniere, Kolkata and graduated from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. In 2013 Chauhan participated in a beauty pageant, Miss Diva, which is a part of Femina Miss India that selects India’s representatives for the Miss Universe pageant. Though she did not win the contest, she was a popular contestant. Sonika Chauhan went on to work as a model in Mumbai and hosted a prime-time news show on a popular Indian channel. Her popularity grew as Chauhan anchored the Pro Kabaddi League. She was also an anchor at India Speed Week in 2017 and NEXA’s P1 Powerboat Racing Grand Prix in 2017. The foundation aims to help fund the dreams of talented underprivileged girls and start a ‘designated driver’ campaign.
